SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR AT THE HANDS OF THE GUILD OF MASTER BEARCRAFTERS ADMINISTRATOR
As many of you already know, Brewins’ Bruins sponsors and organizes The National Teddy Bear Artists’ Awards in conjunction with The Hampshire Teddy Bear Festival. As part of our duty in promoting the NTBAA and Hampshire Teddy Bear Festival, we wrote to Paula Carter, the Guild’s Administrator, to ask if she would detail the 18/19th May 2013 event in the Events Section on the Guild of Master Bearcrafters site. We did not receive the courtesy of a reply and so duly sent the e-mail again. On this occasion, the e-mail was returned to us undelivered.

Children in Need - Pudsey’s Friend Competition
HISTORY
As part of the 2012 Children in Need Appeal, Brewins’ Bruins together with Jacqui Wickenden the winning artist, donated the Teddy Bear that won the NTBAA class that called for a bear representing The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This bear gained widespread publicity and was featured on two radio programmes. She was eventually auctioned on the BBC Children in Need Ebay site raising £690 for this worthy cause. The whole concept proved very successful in helping Children in Need and gave much needed publicity to the art of making Teddy Bears.
The NTBAA Photographic Awards were on show during the South London Teddy Bear Fair, before being posted to all the winners.
