There have been many discussions about whether teddy bears can be judged by photograph when important design features such as weight and balance cannot be conveyed by pictures. The NTBAA existing competition caters for that school of thought but there is merit in having a Competition based on photographs. This new Competition aims to cater for that demand.

The Competition is, above all, intended to be fun. Fun for the artists but very importantly, fun for the collectors, whether they own one bear or a thousand.

What is important is that everyone can take part. The entry fees are kept to a minimum as we only need to cover the administration costs.

Artists can enter as many classes and bears as they like. All you need to do is register on the  web site at www.picturecompetition.com/ntbaa and upload your photos.  Once they are approved, they are on view to the world. Collectors, Artists and the viewing public are free to view, comment and rate your entries.

Specially commissioned trophies will be despatched to the winners!
